Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Lead to join our team at CEVA Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of products, ensuring that all goods are handled and stored safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the organization of materials and inventory, ensuring that all stock is accurately tracked and stored.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products within the assigned area.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to the handling and receiving of goods.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets/shelves, moving orders to the packing station or shipping department.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers, and assist in receiving cargo by removing it from trucks by hand or using manual equipment.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; one to two years of industry-related experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; ability to climb ladders; good or corrected vision; ability to add and subtract.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents; identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
