Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily operations of the hotel restaurant, encompassing food and beverage services, staffing, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue and minimize costs while upholding high-quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule staff members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors to guarantee timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Create menus, promotional activities, pricing strategies, and specials based on market trends and guest preferences.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on financial performance, budgeting goals, sales projections, expenses, and other relevant metrics.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and make recommendations for improvements in services or processes.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel/restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
