Job Summary

We are seeking a lead mental health specialist for our client in Osawatomie, Kansas. This is a temporary contract assignment with a long-term duration. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing medical and psychiatric care to patients, assessing their conditions, and developing treatment plans.

The ideal candidate should have a license to practice psychiatry and at least 4 years of residential experience. A valid DEA certificate and current CPR certification are also required. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $150 to $180 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide medical and psychiatric care to patients, including conducting assessments, making diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
  2. Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
  3. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  4. Participate in consultations with other medical professionals and make referrals as necessary.
  5. Attend meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Licensed psychiatrist with at least 4 years of residential experience.
  • Valid DEA certificate.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
