**Job Title:** Activity Therapist

The Osawatomie State Hospital is seeking a skilled Activity Therapist to join our team. As an Activity Therapist, you will play a vital role in facilitating recreation interventions for patients with mental health illness.

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide recreation therapy treatment groups and individual sessions that promote functional abilities related to leisure.
• Determine leisure patterns, preferences, strengths, and patient goals using assigned leisure screenings and medical records.
• Work with a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to identify goals and evidence-based recreation therapy treatment intervention strategies.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field.
• Certification as a CTRS preferred.

**Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
