**Job Summary:** Recreation Therapy Specialist

The Osawatomie State Hospital is seeking a Recreation Therapy Specialist to join our team. As a Recreation Therapy Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing recreation therapy programs for patients with mental health illness.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Design and implement recreation therapy programs that promote functional abilities related to leisure.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Document patient contact and progress notes accurately.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field.
  • Certification as a CTRS preferred.

**Salary:** $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
