Position Overview:

The Director of Information Technology will play a pivotal role in managing all facets of IT and systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and supporting operational requirements in a dynamic and expanding enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute IT strategies that resonate with corporate objectives, particularly in relation to growth. Guide the IT department to ensure that technological investments bolster efficiency, productivity, and competitive positioning.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee multiple IT projects concurrently, particularly in relation to acquisitions and site expansions. Ensure stakeholder engagement and adherence to timelines and budgetary limits.
  • Infrastructure Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT infrastructure, ensuring all assets are managed within a lifecycle framework that minimizes technical liabilities.
  • Vendor Relations: Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors and partners, negotiating contracts to secure cost-effective IT products and services. Assess vendor performance against established standards.
  • Financial Management: Develop and oversee the IT budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to financial constraints. Regularly report financial performance to senior leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory mandates and industry benchmarks related to IT operations, data protection, and security. Implement governance structures to uphold transparency and accountability.
  • Service Delivery Management: Supervise IT support services to fulfill the requirements of end-users and stakeholders. Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction, making enhancements as necessary to improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years in IT and management roles with progressive responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior IT management capacity, with a successful history of leading IT teams and initiatives.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including cloud solutions, network management, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are advantageous.
