Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute IT strategies that are in sync with the company’s objectives, particularly those related to growth. Provide visionary leadership for the IT department, ensuring that technology investments drive efficiency, productivity, and competitive edge.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee multiple concurrent IT projects, particularly those associated with acquisitions and new site developments. Manage stakeholder engagement and ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgetary limits.
  • Infrastructure Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT infrastructure, ensuring all assets are managed throughout their lifecycle to minimize technical liabilities.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors and partners, negotiating contracts to secure cost-effective IT products and services. Assess vendor performance against established standards.
  • Financial Management: Develop and oversee the IT department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to financial constraints. Regularly report on financial performance to senior management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards regarding IT operations, data privacy, and security. Implement governance frameworks to uphold transparency and accountability.
  • Service Delivery: Supervise IT support services to meet the demands of end-users and stakeholders. Monitor service levels and customer satisfaction, implementing enhancements as necessary to improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of IT and management experience with progressive responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior IT management capacity, with a proven record of leading IT teams and initiatives successfully.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including cloud solutions, network management, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are preferred.
