Job Summary

The Clackamas County Health Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for medical procedures by taking vital signs, recording health information, and setting up exam rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Assist healthcare providers with routine tasks, such as administering medications, drawing blood, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements

  • Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant by a nationally recognized program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and a criminal history check.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a primary care or pediatric care setting.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The schedule will be discussed with the selected candidate at the time of offer.
