Seattle Children's is a renowned pediatric healthcare provider seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and advancing our mission to provide Hope, Care, and Cure for every child.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse with a passion for neonatal critical care. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a NICU setting, preferably with knowledge of ECMO/ECLS, cooling, in-room surgical procedures, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, and other specialized care requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, family-centeredness, and quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff on neonatal critical care best practices
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and improvement within the NICU
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Current Washington State RN License or other current state license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or higher (PALS, PEARS)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a NICU setting, preferably with specialized training
