We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at GPM Investments, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance services for our convenience store equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize work schedule to minimize retail operation downtime based on daily work orders received via email, text, phone, and the automated dispatch system.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Inspect and fix malfunctioning convenience store equipment, determining and rectifying the root cause using general departmental guidelines, personal knowledge, equipment manuals, and other devices.
  • Append, resolve, and close each service call through the dispatch system.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using inventory maintained in the service vehicle.
  • Utilize warehouse and local store accounts to obtain parts as needed.
  • Contact the Maintenance Dispatcher and Supervisor when problems require outside contractor assistance, are recurring, or parts needed cannot be obtained locally and must be ordered.
  • Provide troubleshooting help and analysis of equipment by inspecting and diagnosing possible causes. Notify appropriate personnel regarding estimated time frames for repair. Consult with the supervisor for major repairs.
  • Follow up to ensure affected systems are still functional after previous repair or preventative maintenance was performed.
  • Carry an emergency cell phone and respond to all calls within the dispatch system's prescribed time frame.
  • Prepare and complete a work order document for each dispatched call.
  • Ensure all repairs are performed effectively and efficiently by accurately defining the issues, writing clear scopes of work, and analyzing bids before implementing the final resolution.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.
  • Perform routine store maintenance, including painting and general repairs.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Access to a car or other motorized vehicle.
  • Liability insurance on such vehicle.
  • Good driving record, as daily travel is required.
  • High School diploma, GED, or previous experience.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Time management skills.
  • Must have knowledge in general repairs of plumbing, electrical, food service equipment, fueling equipment, and building repairs.
  • Work Truck Furnished.
