Job Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is tasked with executing all maintenance operations safely, which includes repairing, modifying, servicing, and restoring machinery or equipment utilized by the company. This role encompasses both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, alongside various assembly, fabrication, welding, or installation tasks. The position requires collaboration across departments to ensure efficient operations, seamless workflows, and superior quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conducting monitoring, inspection, and servicing of machinery and equipment, focusing on both mechanical and electrical components.
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and restoring functionality to equipment and machinery.
  • Executing preventative maintenance tasks and maintaining organized maintenance records.
  • Carrying out repairs on buildings and facilities, along with basic maintenance duties.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and employing safe practices at all times.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience leading a maintenance team in the repair and upkeep of manufacturing machinery, with knowledge of blow molding equipment being advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical skills paired with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to respond to after-hours calls as needed.
  • Preferred experience with hydraulic/pneumatic repairs and PLC/Electric troubleshooting, with a requirement for familiarity with 480 3 phase and DC drive units.

Employment Type:

Compensation:
$50,000 - $60,000 annually

  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Required)

Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (Preferred)
