Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Admissions and Financial Aid team, including maintaining an organized office, coordinating meetings and travel, and producing reports and documents.
- Serve as a source of information and problem-solving for students, faculty, staff, and other constituents.
- Communicate with students, faculty, and staff to provide general guidance and explanation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinate planning and logistics for meetings and special events, including setup, facilities, and catering.
- Monitor and track expenditures, resolve problems, and report on department budget and/or grants.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of administrative experience, or a college degree with 1-3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including mail merging, word processing, editing, graphics, spreadsheet, and database knowledge.
- Bookkeeping or basic accounting knowledge.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and excellent work ethic.
- College degree with experience supporting administrative offices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfort with frequent interruptions.
- Experience with Slate is helpful.
This is a hybrid position with four days in-office and one day remote.
CompensationSalary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
