Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, promoting health and well-being, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions and address concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of [State] or compact multi-state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1+ year of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a nursing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
