About the Role:

This dynamic community seeks an experienced Admission Coordinator and Registrar to partner with a local private academy grades K3 through 8th. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to attract new applicants, collaborate with teachers to arrange student evaluations, and maintain ongoing communication with families throughout the admission process.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct personalized tours for prospective families, showcasing the unique offerings of the school.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and website, providing detailed information about the school programs and admission procedures.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to attract new applicants and follow up with online applications.
  • Work alongside teachers to arrange student evaluations and recommend qualified candidates to the admissions committee.
  • Process all admissions applications and documentation efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate admission evaluations, ensuring a seamless experience for both families and evaluators.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families throughout the admission process, delivering timely updates and outcomes.
  • Manage enrollment information and keep an organized database of inquiries and applicants.

Requirements:

  • Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish (must be able to speak, read, and write effectively in both).
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a relevant role; admissions experience is preferred
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
    • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Passion for education and understanding its significance in child development.
    • Strong relationship-building skills with families, faculty, and the community.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
