Position Summary
Rothman Orthopaedics is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to enhance our operations in the Marlton area. The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for welcoming, guiding, and scheduling patients and visitors. This role acts as a crucial link between patients and the medical team. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check in patients, confirming and updating their demographic and insurance details.
- Utilize the eCW system to record patient arrivals and manage referral information.
- Assist patients in scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Answer phone calls courteously, screening inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Support patients with mobility challenges.
- Manage visitor inquiries and provide routine information.
- Collect co-payments and referral information as needed.
- Balance end-of-day financial transactions.
- Collaborate with front desk colleagues to handle challenging patient interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Prepare for the next business day by ensuring all necessary documentation is ready.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Work alongside the Patient Responsible team to address outstanding balances.
- Embody the values and culture of the organization.
