Job Summary

As a Patient Account Representative with Advantage Behavioral Health Network, you will play a critical role in handling patient billing and balance inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients
  • Analyze transaction information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts, and sufficient payments
  • Prepare and disburse patient financial statements
  • Review past-due accounts and track payment progress
  • Resolve issues with delinquent accounts through patient communication and negotiation
  • Update patient account information to ensure accuracy
  • Document patient interactions in patient charts
  • Identify and issue patient credits as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
  • Occasional to frequent walking, sitting, standing, and driving
