Patient Care Coordinator

Virtua, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating and monitoring the patient experience, ensuring seamless communication and care throughout the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor the patient experience, including scheduling appointments, documentation, insurance coordination, and pre-certifications for testing.
- Provide administrative support to physicians and practice manager, including correspondence, patient records, and office administrative information.
- Assist with front desk functions, patient assistance, and check-in/check-out processes.
- Answer practice telephone calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Enter data and documentation in patient health database and practice logs.
- Two to four years of practice experience, preferably in a surgical environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience as an Administrative Patient Navigator preferred.
- Experience with electronic patient health record required, Next-Gen preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Medical Terminology Experience required.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Prefer a graduate of a medical assisting program.
