About the Role

FemmPro OB/GYN is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Biller. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively research and resolve claims based on assignment, utilizing advanced knowledge of EHRs, Availity, and insurance portals.
  • Effectively communicate with payers via phone or website, writing appeals and facilitating submission to ensure successful adjudication of eligible claims.
  • Manage and resolve unpostables, remittance, and correspondence in our dashboards daily, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Illustrate excellent knowledge of healthcare industry revenue cycle, coding, claims, and state insurance laws, providing expert guidance to management and colleagues.
  • Keep management informed of correspondence and communication problems, and educate patients, payers, and colleagues on revenue cycle and financial information as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biller, Collector, Coder, or back-office support staff, or 1 year in an OB/GYN setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and issues effectively.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision, with strong attention to detail and research skills.
