Key Responsibilities of a Member Services Representative:
  • Work hours will be scheduled from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
Your Role Overview:

As a Member Services Representative, you will engage with members in a versatile role, performing both teller functions and new account setups. Your mission will be to deliver an exceptional experience for our members while proactively addressing their financial service needs. This includes opening accounts, processing loan applications, resolving member inquiries, fostering relationships, and educating members about additional products and services that can enhance their financial well-being.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide an outstanding experience for members in the branch, drive-thru, and via phone.
  • Discuss financial products and services using a consultative approach.
  • Open new accounts and products such as savings, checking, debit cards, money market accounts, CDs, and select consumer loan products.
  • Address basic member inquiries through various communication channels including in-person, phone, and email.
  • Actively engage in community service events through our Greater Good initiative.
Qualifications Required:

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing service role.
  • Strong desire to learn and take initiative.
  • Friendly, approachable, and a collaborative team member.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a financial institution.
  • Previous experience as a teller.
  • Six months of cash handling experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in banking or credit unions.
