Key Responsibilities
  • Accident Prevention and Environmental Excellence: Support and drive initiatives to prevent accidents and promote environmental excellence in all aspects of our operations.

  • Work Order Management: Ensure work order technical information is complete for work execution, create or edit task lists for repetitive work, and identify bill of materials updates and corrections.
  • Scheduling and Capacity Planning: Provide accurate work center capacities, participate in schedule review with operations management and planner, and confirm finalized schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of craft persons, ensuring they respond and perform to company requirements of incident-free and accident-free safe workplaces.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with production, maintenance/scheduling, and engineering departments, managers, supervisors, and craft persons.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Ten to fifteen years of technical experience developed through a maintenance career path.
  • Petrochemical Experience: Previous experience in petrochemical plant operations, with knowledge of maintenance, planning, and scheduling requirements for petrochemical equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and SAP, as well as understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control processes and technology.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to develop, lead, and support a team of craft persons, communicate effectively, and work on own initiative to improve techniques.
  • Education and Certifications: Successful candidates must satisfy background screening, including motor vehicle record screening, drug testing, and pre-employment physical requirements, as well as hold a current, valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, based in an office. Some work may be required in operating units, which can require usage of required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel, including air travel or auto travel, may occasionally be required.
