Job Description

  • Ensure the well-being and safety of clients, maintaining a clean and home-like environment.
  • Remain alert and responsive to client needs throughout the shift, providing routine checks according to program procedure.
  • Assist clients with morning activities, including preparing for the day, cleaning, and cooking.
  • Implement established treatment programs in accordance with the client's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and Individualized Action Plan (IAP).
  • Communicate program participant progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.
  • Report significant health, psychiatric, or behavioral issues to on-call staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent degree.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Excellent interpersonal, judgment, and coaching skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize basic computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license, access to an operational and insured vehicle, and willingness to transport clients.
