Position Summary:
The Beverage Service Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the service station is properly set up and maintained for cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of guest areas, including the prompt removal of empty glasses and bottles.
  • Welcome guests warmly and inform them about any special promotions available.
  • Accurately take beverage orders, demonstrating knowledge of all available drinks, including premium brands.
  • Input orders into the point of sale system to communicate with the bartender effectively.
  • Regularly check on guests to replenish beverages and assess their satisfaction.
  • Present checks to guests promptly, expressing gratitude and encouraging their return.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide assistance, direction, and information in line with hotel guidelines.

Qualifications:

Performance Skills:
• Ability to remember and promote a variety of beverage options and hotel services.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English, with basic math skills for handling guest checks.
• Capable of managing customer interactions with patience and diplomacy, especially in challenging situations.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience:
Any combination of education, training, or experience that equips the candidate with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
