Beverage Operations Manager

SAHARA Las Vegas is seeking a Beverage Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our beverage services. This role is responsible for managing the activities of beverage services to maintain high standards and embody the spirit of SAHARA in our beverage quality, service, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the operations of beverage services in bars, lounges, and the casino floor.
- Create and implement daily and weekly schedules for beverage staff and cocktail services.
- Coordinate and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cocktail/beverage programs, and service training for beverage staff and cocktail services.
- Manage day-to-day shift operations, including floor management, staff management, and the guest experience.
- Implement policies and procedures and prioritize team engagement.
- Resolve routine questions and problems and refer more complex issues to the Operations Manager.
- Prepare daily orders and ensure units are stocked with appropriate levels of product.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
- Create a guest experience that captures the SAHARA Las Vegas service culture and style.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a passion for staff and guest satisfaction.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a leadership role within beverage services.
- Working knowledge of mixology, wines, casino floor beverage service, VIP bottle service, and all phases of beverage administration.
- Strong guest service, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Computer skills including MS Office and Point of Sales systems.
- Exceptional coaching and communication skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License, Nevada Food Handler Safety card, and Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card.
