The Program Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the management and coordination of multiple program sites. This position focuses on personnel management and program execution, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the operations of various homes, ensuring effective management of household functions, including medical, financial, and maintenance needs.
- Coordinate and supervise services related to program implementation, community integration, health and nutrition, family engagement, and educational/vocational initiatives.
- Act as a mentor and role model for staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Flexibility is required, including availability for on-call duties during weekends.
Qualifications:Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant human services field is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience working directly with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is required.
- At least two years of management experience in the field of developmental disabilities is essential.
- Strong decision-making, time management, and communication skills are necessary, along with a responsible and adaptable demeanor.
- A valid driver's license is required.
