Position Overview:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care practice focusing on adult and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as necessary
- Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions
- Educate and counsel patients on health promotion and disease prevention strategies
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create and execute treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical documentation
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in medical research and technology
- Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and a high patient volume
