Job Summary

The FF&E Specialist will work under the direction of the FF&E Project Manager to assist with the management of the FF&E scope; will act as the owner representative and work directly with Interior Designers, Purchasing Agents, and Contractors to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within projected budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in Preparing and Vetting Budgets: Assists in preparing and vetting budgets based on historical data to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Assists in Bid Analysis: Assists in bid analysis to ensure that the best value is obtained for the company.
  • Assists with Maintenance of Budgets: Assists with the maintenance of budgets for current projects to ensure that they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assists with Coordination of FFE Documentation: Assists with the coordination of FFE documentation to ensure that all necessary documents are completed and submitted on time.
  • Assists with Obtaining Takeoffs: Assists with obtaining takeoffs to ensure that accurate quantities are obtained for FF&E procurement.
  • Assists with Review of ID Specifications and Bidding Process: Assists with the review of ID specifications and bidding process to ensure that the best value is obtained for the company.
  • Assists with Overseeing Submittal Process: Assists with overseeing the submittal process between purchasing agents/vendors and interior design firms to ensure that all necessary documents are completed and submitted on time.
  • Assists with Overseeing Document Flow: Assists with overseeing the document flow to ensure that all necessary documents are completed and submitted on time.
  • Updates ID Specification Books: Updates ID specification books to ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assists with Creating and Maintaining Tracking Logs: Assists with creating and maintaining tracking logs using status reports from purchasing agents and identifying any potential delays or impact to construction schedules for owner-provided items.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Interior Design, or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in business, interior design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in OSE or FFE Purchasing: Experience in OSE or FFE purchasing or experience in the gaming and/or hospitality industry is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook: Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook is required.
  • Ability to Excel in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands is required.
  • Attention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail is required.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Schedule flexibility, including some overnight and/or day travel in response to project needs, is required.
  • Understanding of Industry Practices: An understanding of industry practices, systems, processes, and activities is required.
