Job Overview

Highway Construction is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Driver/Laborer to join our team. This role requires a valid Class A CDL and the ability to travel for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with crew members to lay conduit, trench, shovel, and dig.
  • Assist in the placement, movement, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
  • Load, secure, and offload heavy equipment onto trailers.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to jobsite safety and adhere to safe work practices.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Ability to travel one to two weeks at a time.
  • Reliable transportation to the Adkins shop.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in close proximity to high-volume traffic.
