Austin Bridge & Road is Seeking a CDL Driver Class A

We are a leading provider of heavy highway and transportation infrastructure services, and we are currently seeking a skilled CDL Driver Class A to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Operate heavy equipment, including lowboy trailers, in a safe and efficient manner
  • Participate as a vital team member, contributing to the success of our projects
  • Attend daily safety meetings and adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Work hours adjusted to meet the project's needs, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Able to work in adverse weather conditions and hot or cold temperatures
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry
  • A strong commitment to jobsite safety
  • Thorough operational knowledge and skills of trucks and related equipment, including end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy, and super dump experience
  • Experience with off-highway driving in construction sites
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, as well as a TXDOT physical
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and state and federal regulations
  • Must maintain a current State-issued Class A or B driver's license
  • Knowledge of and adherence to DOT rules and regulations
  • MVR record must meet Company and DOT standards
  • Familiarity with securing heavy and/or oversized loads
