About the Job

The Technical Manager will play a crucial role in guiding the Agency through the adoption and use of a new system. This individual will ensure that the system is developed in accordance with the Agency's functional and technical requirements and is aligned with best practices. The Technical Manager will facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical resources, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a detailed understanding of all technologies and technical approaches used in the target system.
  • Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical resources to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure that the system is developed in accordance with the Agency's functional and technical requirements and is aligned with best practices.
  • Guide the Agency through the adoption and use of the system, assisting in improving implementation processes through increased speed and efficiency.
  • Ensure that all technical changes are managed according to best practice and system configurations, during the design, development, implementation, and into operations.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years of experience as a technical manager.
  • Prior experience in public sector healthcare system implementation projects and institutional knowledge of federal regulations.
