About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our Division of Child Adversity and Resilience at Children's Mercy Kansas City.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and provide medical care to children suspected of maltreatment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement prevention and intervention strategies
  • Contribute to research and education initiatives to improve child health outcomes
  • Participate in community-based programs to promote child well-being and resilience
Requirements
  • Fellowship-trained and/or board-certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Commitment to excellence, integrity, and antiracism
