We are seeking a skilled Residential Specialist to join our team at Greater Cincinnati Behavior (GCBHS) in East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking for a flexible work schedule and experience with mental health services.

Job Overview

GCBHS is a pioneer in the field of behavioral health treatment for adults, children, and families. As a Residential Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing residential coverage and management of our Kemper House transitional living facility. You will assist in the development, implementation, and facilitation of recovery-based programming, including individual and group services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention, role modeling, and limit setting.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals through medication training, independent living skills training, and personal care training.
  • Participate in facilitating client meetings, activities, and organized groups.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety protocols and reporting any concerns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of college in a human services field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with mental health populations.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
