Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our cardiology practice in Flagstaff, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic studies and therapeutic treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatment to be performed.
- Position patients appropriately for radiographic procedures and perform radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
- Develop and evaluate radiographic results for technical quality and apply learned methodologies with independent judgment.
- Maintain infection prevention standards and prepare, clean, adjust, inspect, and maintain equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology with NMTCB Certification or graduation from an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Certificate Program with NMTCB.
- NMTCB and/or ARRT certification.
- BLS (American Heart Assoc.) certification.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card application number and Fingerprint Clearance Card within 90 days of hire.
