Computer Engineering Faculty Position at Saint Louis University

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty team as a non-tenure track professor in the Department of Civil, Computer, and Electrical Engineering within the School of Science and Engineering at Saint Louis University.
Responsibilities- Teaching: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in computer engineering, including embedded systems, robotics, and hardware/software co-design.
- Student Mentoring: The faculty member will be expected to actively engage in undergraduate and graduate student mentoring, providing guidance and support to students in their academic and professional development.
- Departmental and School Service: The candidate will be required to participate in departmental and school service, including committee work, curriculum development, and other activities that support the mission of the university.
- Research: The faculty member will be expected to participate in research activities, including student project mentoring, pedagogy development, and other collaborative efforts that enhance the learning experience of students.
- Education: An M.S., Ph.D., or significant experience in computer engineering or a closely related field.
- Teaching Experience: Excellence in teaching as demonstrated through previous teaching and teaching preparation experiences.
- Commitment to Mission: A desire to engage with SLU's mission-driven learning and outreach activities.
- Authorization to Work: The applicant must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
- Teaching Experience: Relevant teaching experience that promotes hands-on, experiential learning.
- Student Project Mentoring: An established record of student project mentoring.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability and vision to collaborate in pursuit of enhancing undergraduate and graduate education.
