Key Responsibilities
  • Perform janitorial and cleaning activities in assigned areas, including dust mopping, damp mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Interact with facility personnel, supervisor, and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to customer preferences and comply with industry, federal, and state guidelines.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous school custodial/janitorial experience is preferred.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to cooperate with co-workers and facility staff.
  • Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
