The Technology Support Tech is a key member of the Information Technology department at Tanner Health System, playing a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the office. This individual is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of office equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and peripheral equipment
- Provide technical support to staff and customers
- Collaborate with technical staff to resolve complex technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of related experience
- Working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures
- Driver's License
- Neat, pleasant demeanor, confident personality
- Organized, accurate, good knowledge of English grammar and spelling
- Ability to create technical procedural documentation
- Windows hardware (Desktop) or voice hardware (Telecom) and software troubleshooting experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in problem resolution position and or customer service required
- Microsoft Configuration Manager Experience (Desktop) or Cisco Call Manager PBX (Telecom) experience is a plus
Work Environment
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
