Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of catering department employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Prepare and serve food at functions, including events, meetings, and conferences, under the supervision of the Catering Director.
  • Drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements, address last-minute changes, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled catering functions, ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Distribute and collect customer comment cards at catered functions, providing feedback to the Catering Director.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
  • Interact with customers, resolving any complaints or issues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
