Job Title: Area Manager

Bluechip Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to lead our operations in Fresno, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily work of staff responsible for providing cleaning services to assigned buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Monitor the daily performance of staff to ensure they meet/exceed client expectations, communicate consistently with direct reports, and enforce proper uniform attire.
  • Payroll & Budget: Review budget and payroll reports, monitor punches and attendance, and attend weekly Regional calls to review personal performance.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Anticipate hiring needs, develop and execute a recruitment strategy, and onboard new hires on their first day.
  • Supplies & Maintenance: Ensure uniforms are ordered and delivered, order supplies in advance, and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Maintain a consistent visitation schedule, provide daily status updates, and conduct quality control audits.
  • Safety: Oversee OSHA required safety trainings, ensure supervisors perform weekly informal safety inspections, and report all incidents/accidents immediately.
  • Mall Accounts: Maintain 100% utilization of approved budgets hours per week, ensure overtime is restricted to mall-approved hours, and communicate changes to budgeted hours.
  • New Business: Encourage the team to seek out future business opportunities, submit tracker weekly, and sell out-of-scope work at current client sites.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.
