Key Responsibilities
The Senior Vice President of Nursing Operations will:
- Evaluate and improve nursing practices within the Acute Care Division, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for nursing that prioritizes patient care and quality outcomes while aligning with the organization’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other key stakeholders to enhance clinical quality and safety measures across the division.
- Design and oversee orientation and training programs for nursing and support staff to promote safety and excellence in patient care.
- Establish nursing leadership development initiatives to foster professional growth and advancement opportunities for nursing personnel.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 8 years of executive-level nursing experience in both clinical and operational roles within an acute care environment.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, along with a Master’s degree in business, nursing, or a related field.
- Proven success in leading nursing teams in large, multifaceted organizations.
- Experience in developing and implementing processes aimed at enhancing quality and operational performance.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel of 50% or more.
