Reimbursement Resource Representative Opportunity

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reimbursement Resource Representative to join our Medical Billing/Business Services Team.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for claim resolution and payment, working with insurance carriers and patients to resolve account discrepancies.
  • Utilize department guidelines and MPG electronic systems to manage claims and patient accounts.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of insurance carrier billing and reimbursement, CPT, modifiers, and fee schedule differences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct telephone and face-to-face meetings with patients.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in insurance carrier appeals.
  • Athena EMR knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Hybrid opportunity available, with 3 days remote and 2 days in-office.
