Practice Overview:
We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our established inpatient unit and outpatient clinic teams. This role includes providing in-hospital consultations for both adult and pediatric patients.
The facility boasts a strong Hospitalist program and a dedicated emergency medicine team, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and manage both acute and chronic mental health conditions. You will also provide pharmacological interventions, psycho-education, and crisis management.
Follow-up appointments will be essential to support the ongoing treatment plans for our patients.
Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with fellow psychiatrists, advanced practitioners, and community partners to deliver holistic care. This includes assessing any potential risks to patients and coordinating with the treatment team to implement necessary precautions.
This position operates on a day shift schedule, with shared on-call responsibilities, including night and weekend duties.
