Role Overview

As a Senior Assurance Consultant, you will demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding services and personalized attention to clients by going above and beyond when necessary. This includes thorough planning, preparation of supporting documentation, and offering insightful recommendations for client benefit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the professional ethics of the firm and relevant accounting bodies.
  • Ensure strict compliance with client confidentiality protocols.
  • Exhibit a professional dedication to delivering exceptional service by surpassing expectations.
  • Prepare for audits, establish trial balances and lead sheets, create and analyze schedules and spreadsheets, verify the accuracy of client accounting records, update financial statements, and gain insights into client operations.
  • Meet budget and realization targets while supervising junior accountants to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Identify client concerns and maintain high standards of client service.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts for staff and interns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, guidelines, and technical research.
  • Recognize and address problem areas and client issues, providing solutions to management.
  • Offer valuable recommendations from audits and reviews for client benefit.
  • Achieve chargeable hour targets.
  • Engage in internal training sessions as required.
  • Complete the CPA Exam if not already achieved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license is highly preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience in public accounting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong multitasking abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
