Role Overview

As an Assurance Senior, you will demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding services and personalized attention to clients, going above and beyond when necessary. This includes thorough planning, preparation of supporting documentation, and offering insightful recommendations for client benefit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the professional ethics of the firm and relevant accounting organizations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with client confidentiality protocols.
  • Exhibit a professional dedication to delivering superior service by surpassing expectations.
  • Prepare for audits, establish trial balances and lead sheets, create and analyze schedules and spreadsheets, verify the accuracy of client accounting records, update financial statements, and gain insights into client operations.
  • Meet budget and realization targets while supervising junior accountants to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Identify client concerns and maintain high standards of client service.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts for staff and interns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, guidelines, and research on technical matters.
  • Recognize and address problem areas and client issues, providing solutions to management.
  • Offer valuable insights from audits and reviews for client advantage.
  • Achieve chargeable hour objectives.
  • Engage in internal training sessions as required.
  • Complete the CPA Exam if not already attained.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license is highly preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience in public accounting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting practices and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
