Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assurance Senior Manager to enhance our middle markets team. This role can be performed in a hybrid or remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assurance Senior Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Acting as the Engagement Manager for designated client accounts, overseeing pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverable preparation.
  • Creating detailed engagement work plans that outline budgets and timelines, while monitoring project progress and communicating any necessary adjustments.
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality service and integrity in all interactions.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about engagement developments and logistics.
  • Establishing credibility with the CohnReznick team through effective client management and clear communication.
  • Preparing accurate and timely invoices for services rendered.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8 years of audit and accounting experience in public accounting.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, with knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
  • Exceptional client service and communication abilities, with a proven track record of developing and sustaining excellent client relationships.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in audit-preparation software and an understanding of technology's impact on the field.
  • Solid research and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
