Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to students with communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct speech therapy to students, using evidence-based practices to promote effective communication.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support system for students.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input to set realistic and impactful goals for students.

Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • SLP License: Hold a Maryland SLP license or be eligible to obtain licensure.
  • ASHA CCCs: Possess ASHA CCCs or be a Clinical Fellow.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
