Job Title: Head/Neck Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Head/Neck Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to patients with head and neck cancers.

Job Summary:

The Head/Neck Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with head and neck cancers. This includes evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care and support throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with head and neck cancers, including assessing their medical history, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and surgeons.
  • Provide ongoing care and support to patients, including managing symptoms, monitoring treatment side effects, and addressing patient concerns.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless transitions of care, including hospital admissions, discharges, and follow-up appointments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate of an NP program accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Current RN licensure and NP certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Experience working in oncology, preferably in head and neck cancer care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
