Stanford Health Care is seeking two full-time Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to work in Oncology, with a sub-specialty in Head/Neck Medical Oncology.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Oncology experience as an APP and will build expertise/knowledge/skills in general medicine as well as in the Head/Neck Medical Oncology specialty.
As an APP in this role, you will transition over time from working in co-shared settings with your MD colleagues to treating the same patient panel in your APP independent clinic.
Responsibilities- Care for patients with head and neck cancers, including nasopharynx, sinuses, oropharynx, oral cavity, tongue, salivary glands, and skin cancers that metastasize to Head/Neck regions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with head and neck cancers.
- Work collaboratively with MD colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Transition patients from treatment to surveillance or hospice care as needed.
At least 1 year of Oncology experience as an APP.
Strong knowledge of head and neck cancers and their treatment options.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
