Dewberry Engineers Incorporated is seeking a Survey Field Technician I to join our team in Frederick, MD. As a member of our survey crew, you will perform boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing professional assignments to facilitate the completion of roads, bridges, building sites, recreational areas, retracement of surveys, and establishment of property corners.
  • Carrying out a range of surveying assignments while learning the methods of the work.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; prefer minimum 1 year of field experience.
  • Basic math competency, knowledge of survey computer programs, and survey computations applicable to the work.
  • Familiarity with surveying instruments and equipment, and principles and practices of land surveying.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains, and to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift 50 lbs.
