Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse to join our team at Cody Regional Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in pediatric critical care to work in a fast-paced environment, making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

About the Job

This 13-week contract position offers the flexibility to work 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, with a scheduled total of 36 hours per week. As a PICU nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and family-centered care principles.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with families, and document accurate information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in Wyoming.
  • 1+ years of experience in pediatric critical care, preferably in a PICU setting.
