Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Critical Care Nurse Specialist at Cody Regional Health. As a key member of our Acute Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires current or temporary Wyoming licensure as a Registered Professional nurse. You will have the opportunity to work with patients from medical/surgical and pediatrics backgrounds, or have recently completed an accredited school of nursing or refresher program. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will perform a head-to-toe physical assessment and social assessment upon admission, develop a written Care Plan upon admission, and review and update it daily. They will also initiate cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, non-invasive blood pressure, and oximetry, start or evaluate IV sites, and evaluate existing drainage systems. Additional responsibilities include performing delivery of nursing care via the nursing process, re-assessing patients to identify progress and trends, and assisting patients, physicians, and peers in determining long- and short-range goals. The ideal candidate will maintain knowledge of medications, interpret computerized monitor trends, administer medications, calculate doses, and document medical and nursing treatment in a timely and accurate manner.

What We Offer:

Cody Regional Health offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have current or temporary Wyoming licensure as a Registered Professional nurse, experience in medical/surgical and pediatrics nursing, or a recent graduate of an accredited school of nursing or refresher program. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and exhibit a positive attitude toward other hospital departments and colleagues.
