About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Granville Veterinary Clinic. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our animal patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of animals, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by a veterinarian, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Perform laboratory tests, such as urinalysis, blood counts, and parasite examinations, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of animal health issues.
  • Assist in surgical procedures, providing support to the veterinarian and ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
  • Educate clients on animal health care, providing guidance and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for their pets.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic setting (preferred)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and varying shifts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and veterinary staff
  • Ability to relocate to Granville, OH 43023 prior to starting work
